Simplicity, Sacredness, Sustainability.

I haven’t written in this blog for maybe four years. This morning, I felt what it felt like when I first put this up five years ago. I was living in Mindanao, but passing often through Cebu. I rode only ships then, because there was less to do. Though there was much that was being asked for.

I’m in Cebu again, what some mystics have said is the heart of the Philippines. I’m led to be here, for many reasons. Writing in this space again just became one of them.

When we become simple, we hold things in sacredness. We become innately sustainable. Just from the level of perception alone, when we see things through the lens called sacred simplicity, we become harmoniously sustainable.

Within simple, white space, our body relaxes. As do our emotions and our mind. Our consciousness expands. We begin to perceive life as it is.

Which inevitably further leads us to simplicity, sacredness, sustainability.

In a joyous, uncomplicated way.

Life holds many keys to our joy. Awakening to joyous living.

I heard in a movie once, the greatest thing we shall ever experience is to give love and be loved in return.

In the shower, I heard, the thing greater than that is, rather than to receive or give it, “to be love.” To not have to need to be loved or even to give it but to be love for no grand reason at all, simply because that is who we are. Love, our essence. So, we just have to be it. And when we come from that, we will give and receive who we are, essentially – not out of need, but out of pure essence.

The simplicity, the sacredness, the sustainability of being love itself. It radiates from our hearts. It transforms people in its presence. Simply by being it, on facebook, in the office, at home, without drama or detours. Unashamedly, guilt-free, or regretless. It leads one to weave into life. Not just to talk or walk through it, love itself weaves the fabrics of our moments. And we don’t have to control anything. The tapestry literally weaves its wondrous web of creation.

Love beneath the layers of the fear. Simplicity. Waking slowly, breathing calmly. Unafraid, everything becomes but a shadow of light and perception. The child’s simplicity melts fears. At the moment of closing up to anything that threatens our esteem, our security, we are choosing to love even that which we are afraid of. We’re learning to do this, and we’re seeing how it changes things. Every single day and minute we perceive love from within our hearts.

Walk into a room that says doubt, cancer, scarcity, anger. Trauma, despair. Even murder death kill.

Dispel that. Laugh it, wave it, dance it, sing it. Then change the song. Change the rhythm. As if it was the easiest and most sensible thing. The way a child would knock down a house of cards and giggle wholeheartedly as if he had just won a million in the lottery.

The world is a very big room. Walk into That. Dispel that. Laugh it, wave it, dance it, polka it. Then change its song. With the powers vested in all of cosmic creation and the creative and quantum forces latent within it. Within you. Within us. To re-weave the tapestry called Earth, the Song called Gaea. We have it in us to birth planets (as we are always impregnated with the possibility to be one). As the universe is omnicentric and we are all Suns of Light, weaving our way into each other’s love,

Birthing Sun. Birthing Earth. Birthing Self.

I watch my son in my arms, wriggling around, laughing. It's a miracle. Light, in this form, this most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Wriggling Love, he is what we are. Hahaha.

Sacred, sustainable, simplicity.
