Enjoy

Kali-π-Mu
(kali-pie-mu)
by Troy Bernardo

Kali-π-Mu is a pre-Colonial spiritual healing ritual indigenous to The Philippine Islands, a ceremony led by tribal shamans called babaylan, who were mostly female. Keepers of ancient secrets and wisdom, babaylans brought people to higher states of consciousness by awakening the spirit, encouraging the Divine Energy to move through the body, consequently inducing spiritual ecstasy, healing, and the removal of mental, physical, and emotional blockages. The arrival of the Spaniards in the 1800s virtually wiped out the babaylans and their spiritual practices, replacing it with the more acceptable, non-pagan religion of Roman Catholicism.

After centuries of suppression, the ritual has finally resurfaced.

The Unlikely Shaman

Driven by an inner calling and an inexplicable spiritual hunger, a young advertising executive named Pompet Villaraza headed to the Philippine province of Palawan, where he spent two years going through his own personal catharsis on an uninhabited island. Living on bananas and coconuts, Villaraza flushed out both the toxins and emotional baggage off his body, until he heard the words: The Mother and I are one. It was then that he began to be moved by the Spirit, like electricity running through his system. He, then, realized that he had the power to heal.

He changed his name to Pi.

The Three-Fold Name

The term, Kali-π-Mu, has a lot of meanings. Wikipedia, the online encyclopedia, lists several.

Kalipay Mu is Visayan for “Your Happiness,” while Kalipi Mu means “Our tribe.”

      Kali

Kali is taken from the word kalis, meaning “blade,” which forms the base of many Filipino martial arts such as Kalimasada and Kalis-arnis. The syllable Ka represents the word kaalaman, which means knowledge or wisdom, while Li refers to lihim, or secret. Put these together and you find the source of the ritual: secret wisdom.

Kali is also known as the Hindu diety who had the frightening form of the mother goddess Durga, represents the Benevolent Mother-Goddess, the Divine Feminine, as celebrated by the babaylans. Kalimata is known as the mother’s energy, the shakti or “life force” that enters the corpse or Shava. In pre-colonial Philippines, gender was never used as a basis for spiritual leadership unlike in Roman Catholicism; instead, it was the level of a person’s spirituality that determined one’s role in the hierarchy.

In Egypt, ka refers to the concept of life force, the difference between a living and a dead person, with death occurring when the ka left the body. Giacomo Borioni proposes in his work "Der Ka aus religionswissenschaftlicher Sicht" that, according to Friedrich Junge, the ka was the "self" of a human being.

      PI

PI stands for The Philippine Islands. The politically correct terminology for the pre-colonial Filipinos is (I)ndigenous (P)eoples, or P.I. in reverse. I.P. stands for Inner Peace.

It is also a mathematical symbol, π, called a transcendental (and therefore irrational) real number, approximately equal to 3.14159, or the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter in Euclidean geometry. It is also known as the divine number, since no human can ever calculate it precisely, thus putting the digits at the heart of the divine circle.

The great Greek mathematician Archimedes, who was the first to approximate Pi, estimated the value widely used today. PI is the result of dividing the circumference (perimeter) of the circle (L) by its diameter (D), or π = L / D.

Pi is also a Chinese hexagram in the I Ching. It means to “stand still.” It is the 16th letter in the Greek alphabet. In numerology, it is the number seven, coming from one plus six. In Sacred Geometry, the ancient symbol of the Seed of Life are six circles surrounding a seventh circle. This is representational of the coiling Kundalini. The seven are really unfurling unto themselves, each meeting each other at the center at the perimeter of the circle. Thus, Pi is mathematically, the relationship of two circles meeting each other whilst centered, the experience one feels during the Kali-Pi-Mu rituals where two people openly meet on the basis of centered energy. When energy is low, one or two of the persons involved aren't coming from the core.

      Mu

Mu, on the other hand, represents the name of a hypothetical vanished continent (i.e., Lemuria) thought to have been located in the Pacific Ocean and believed by many psychics to have deep spiritual ties with The Philippines.

Augustus Le Plongeon, a 19th century traveler and writer who conducted his own investigations of the Maya ruins in Yucatán (believed to be older than the civilizations of Atlantis and Egypt), first came up with the idea of Mu. He got the name from the mistranslation of what was then called the Troano manuscript by Charles Étienne Brasseur de Bourbourg in 1864, using the de Landa alphabet. While information on the lost continent has been turned into fables, which can be found under the New Age or Religion & Spirituality sections of bookshops, the Troano manuscript remains in the Museo de América in Madrid, Spain. It is part of what is now referred to as the Madrid Codex, created in the late Mayan period by eight different scribes, which documents the continent of Mu.

Scientifically, there are Mu waves, electromagnetic oscillations in the frequency range of 8-13 Hz and appear in bursts of at 9-11 Hz, which are detected by electroencephalography (EEG) or magnetoencephalography (MEG).. Associated mostly with the motor cortex (central scalp), the wave happens when there is synchronous and coherent (in phase/constructive) electrical activity of large groups of neurons in the human brain. The waves levels include the Delta, Theta, Beta and Gamma frequencies.

Mu is also the 12th greek letter. If you were to add 12 circles that would surround the Seed of Life, we achieve the symbol known as the flower (or flow-er) of life. It is a hologram that surrounds the human body and all the recreated parts of The One. Add all of the circles in the Flower of Life and we have the number 19, which stands for the Greek Letter, the tau; the Chinese Tao; and the complete Filipino human being, Tao.

Mu reversed stands for the ancient UM of India, the old spelling of the Ohm and Aum. It stands also for the (U)mbilicus (M)undus, or the Heart of the Earth, Gaea's central chakra, which directs the telluric currents or what modern people are finding as ley lines. During Kali-π-Mu healings, the body's currents are moving. The earth and climate changes we are witnessing today are concurrent with the movement of the Earth's Umbilical Cord. What we do about this now has much to do with where this chakra will end up. The choice is, and has always been, ours. The Heart of the Earth can be found in areas where Man finds his own Heart in the same space as the Heart of God.

MU or UM waves emanate from the Heart of the Earth, the Umbilical Mundus. The MU waves emanating from and are sent to the motor cortex, which is the part of the human brain that facilitates movement, especially the dance.

The Ritual

People, who have undergone Kali-π-Mu gatherings, report an immediate sensation of bliss, intense happiness and spiritual ecstasy, and later on, rapid acceleration of spiritual evolution. Some go through an involuntary dance, mostly with heightened abandon in such elevated states.

The ritual begins when a healer’s hands, guided by the Spirit, is drawn to the person’s body (perhaps areas that need healing), effectively tapping into the Kalimata, the mother’s energy that exists within each of us, and allowing it to express itself through visions, energy shifts or movement. The movement can be either simple or elaborate, depending on a person’s spiritual openness. Not all sicknesses are healed. Healing, as Villaraza explained, depends on the mindset, spiritual advancement, and the personal intentions of the patient.

The movement, or dance, is brought about by Kalimata, the life force found within. It is the same energy that propelled Shiva to dance and Moses’ walking stick, which turned into Shiva’s dancing serpent in Sinai, to move. The ancient inhabitants of Mexico discovered an automatic flow within the body that redeploys energy for helping the initiate evolve. The modern Americans, who rediscovered this lost ancient heritage, called it The Magic Passes. The ancient Indians themselves called it the serpent Kundalini.

The ritual of Kali-π-Mu can trigger the awakening of the Kundalini, the energy curled up in the back part of the root chakra in three and one-half turns around the sacrum (i.e., from Sanskrit: coiled up or coiled up like a snake). In yoga, the awakening is associated with the appearance of bio-energetic phenomena, much like a "pranic awakening," prana being the vital, life-sustaining force in the body. This energy is also interpreted as a vibrational phenomena that initiates a period, or a process of vibrational spiritual development.

Scientifically, Kali-π-Mu takes people from the Delta phase (0.1 to 3 Hz), which has the lowest frequency (e.g., deep sleep, the unconscious mind) to the Gamma state (36-44 Hz), where high-level information processing occurs. This is the only frequency group found in every part of the brain. This is the frequency where Kali-π-Mu occurs.

The Result

Kali-π-Mu launches initiates into an acceleration of spiritual development, which includes processes of purification and profound transformation. It is much like the peeling of masks. Once the ritual is performed, the glue fastens these masks together is released, and so like crumbling walls, layer and layer of these faces fall away. We either hang on to them, a useless gesture, or simply let go, which sets us free.

Only then can we reach the higher states of consciousness.

The Philippines & 2012

Before Ferdinand Magellan re-discovered The Philippines in March 1521, spiritual consciousness, elevated awareness, and deep spirituality already existed in the country. The ancient name of Mindanao was, in fact, Ma-I. Had the islands not been named after King Philip II of Spain, Filipinos would have called themselves Maians. Maya is the name of the country’s former national bird. Maya reversed is Ayam, or I am, which is Ma-I reversed. In Exodus 3:14 (or Pi), God said to Moses, "I-AM-WHO-I-AM. Tell the People of Israel, 'I-AM sent me to you."

For Buddhists, Maya is the world of illusion; for the Hindus, is the magical reality play that keeps embodied souls enthralled. The world of illusion has an expiration date. That date is believed to be 2012.

      Venus Transit

On June 8, 2004, the planet Venus passed in front of the Sun, in a rare six-hour passage. Though Venus does cross the Sun every year, the transit would either be too high or too low to see, making it invisible because of solar glare. In the 1700s, astronomers learned that the transit across the Sun from different locations on the Earth could give us the distance between the two, also known as the astronomical unit. This allowed them to calculate the earth’s distances from other planets as well. The next Venutian transit will take place on June 6, 2012.

This is the second and last solar transit of the planet Venus of this century.

According to NASA, the entire transit (all four contacts) is visible from northwestern North America, Hawaii, the western Pacific, northern Asia, Japan, Korea, eastern China, Philippines, eastern Australia, and New Zealand. The Sun sets while the transit is still in progress from most of North America, the Caribbean, and northwest South America. Similarly, the transit is already in progress at sunrise for observers in central Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and eastern Africa. No portion of the transit will be visible from Portugal or southern Spain, western Africa, and the southeastern 2/3 of South America. (http://sunearth.gsfc.nasa.gov/eclipse/transit/venus0412.html)

      Zero-Point Energy

When energy is high, and people are coming from their spiritual core, the Vesica Piscis, a Christian code for the fish, is formed. The shared area of energy between both individuals takes the shape of the human eye, the leaf, and the Mayan glyph for zero.

This leads us to the Zero-Point Energy, which, according to Albert Einstein and Otto Stern in 1913, all quantum mechanical systems have. In quantum field theory, Zero-Point is a synonym for the vacuum energy, an amount of energy associated with the vacuum of empty space. In cosmology, the vacuum energy is taken to be the origin of the cosmological constant. Experimentally, the zero-point energy of the vacuum leads directly to the Casimir effect, which is a physical force exerted between separate objects, which is due to neither charge, gravity, nor the exchange of particles, but instead is due to resonance of all-pervasive energy fields in the intervening space between the objects. This is like the exchange of energies in a Kali-π-Mu ritual.

Because Zero-Point Energy is the lowest possible energy a system can have, this energy cannot be removed from the system. Phycisist Greg Bradden found a Zero-Point effect while measuring the Earth's magnetic readings, the point taking place on 2012. Shamanic physicist Terrence Mckenna who, unrelated to Bradden's research, came up with a computer program that measures history glyphs. This resulted in a zeroing point on December 21, 2012. The computer program is called Timewave Zero.

      The Mayan Calendar

This is also the date of the end of the Mayan calendar.

Also called a great year of spiritual transformation (or apocalypse) by many esoteric sources, the completion of the thirteenth B'ak'tun cycle in the Long Count of the Maya calendar (which occurs on December 21 by the most widely held correlation), is interpreted to mean that there will be a major change in the world order. It represents the Mayan belief system that a transition from the current Creation world into the next will happen. This can very well be a shift in humanity’s state of consciousness.

The December solstice for 2012 also occurs on this day.

      The Planet

The year coincides with British Prime Minister Tony Blair’s point-of-no-return as far as global climate change is concerned. On December 31, 2012, the Kyoto Protocol will expire.

Richard C. Duncan's book, The Peak of World Oil Production and the Road To The Olduvai Gorge, claims that the Olduvai cliff will begin this year and permanent blackouts will occur worldwide. Several studies predict a peak in oil production in or around 2012.

NASA predicts that the Sun will also reverse its own magnetic poles during 2012 as result of reaching the end of the current 11-year sunspot cycle. The book, The Orion Prophecy , claims that the Earth's magnetic field will reverse.

On January 31, 2012, Eros, the second largest Near Earth Object on record (size 13x13x33 km) is expected to pass Earth at 0.1790 astronomical units (~16.647 Million Miles). At a yet undetermined date, the asteroid 2004MN4 comes into view again in 2012, and NASA will have to recalculate the odds of impact. The 1997 book, The Bible Code, claims that, according to certain algorithms of the Bible code, a meteor, asteroid or comet will collide with the Earth.

      NumericSymbols

In various world cultures and religions, the number 12 can mean several things. DNA has 12 codons, 10 of which are atrophied; evolve, and the other codons are activated. There are 12 months in a year, seven days a week. Subtract 12 and 7, we get 5. As mentioned earlier, 12 circles surround the Seed of Life, while the Flower of Life contains 19 circles. The difference between the two is 7, which represents the number of chakras. During the Kali-π-Mu mindless trance, 5 chakras found in the auric body are activated, energetically linking to the 7 chakras placed nearer the physical body. The numbers 5, 7 and 12, when taken in the context with Mu and Pi, or the letters M and P, which stand for Mindanao and Palawan. According to the Lonely Planet, in separate editions, Palawan is the 5th largest island in the Philippines, while Mindanao is the 5th largest island in the world.

There are others. The number 12, reversed ,is 21. The 21st Greek letter is Phi, the official abbreviation of the country. The Phi ratio is the divine blueprint of the golden spiral, which is believed to be emanating from the country. For a time, it could be found in Egypt, in India, in Latin America, in China, in Greece, in areas near the Bermuda Triangle. It is now resting in The Philippines, believed to have been the archipelago remains of the lost continent of Mu.

At the foot of Mt. Apo, a cult called the New Israel, reveals that its founders have been busy in the ascension of Filipino souls as far back as the early decades of the 20th century from as far away as Northern California, where the Filipino-American owner of Kalipay, the beach Villaraza stayed in while in Palawan, now lives.

A French writer from the Rosicrucian Order was said to have written about a convergent mountain back in the 1900's. The mountain, which was traced to the Lemurian legends, was called Mt. Mu-Pi. Cerve was making connections with Mt. Shasta in Northern California (Kali-for-niya).

The Rosicrucian Order is an hermetic, esoteric order viewed among earlier and many modern Rosicrucianists as a "College of Invisibles" from the inner worlds, composed of great Adepts, aiming to give assistance in humanity's spiritual development. They wrote manifestos, clearly adopting the Pythagorean tradition of envisioning objects and ideas in terms of their numeric aspects

A Call to Action

According to The Book of John (standing for Juan de la Cruz, or John of the Cross), verse 3:14 states:

In the same way that Moses lifted the serpent in the DESERT it is necessary for the Son of Man to be lifted up (John 3:14).

Whatever belief, or non-belief, system one adheres to, this is the central message of Kali-π-Mu. The heightened state the ritual transports us to is a call to action. It is (M)oses’ walking stick. It is Shiva dancing upon receipt of Kalimata. It is God's instruction to those on the ascending path of service.

And, the call resonates deep in the Filipino soul.

Eta-Pi

Pi–Eta

In the twenty-first century, the average forty-five year-old human being is especially weighed with mental wear and tear and the physical aches and pains that toll the one bell most human beings dread – The Beginning of the End. Incredibly enough, the eventful life of Norma Mildred Ryder at that age was merely at The End of the Beginning – namely her long metamorphosis into becoming one of the most famous walkers since mankind decided to relinquish this form of traveling in favor of the fossil-fueled automobile.

She was a human butterfly that had a particular penchant for walking. It took her fifteen years to purify herself, undergoing the difficult cocooning process of letting go of her attachments to money, property, her friends and her family before she could accomplish what most human caterpillars might consider impossible, if not downright loony.

The first day of the year 1953 was The Beginning of The New Beginning. At forty-five years, she took the initial steps of an incredible walking pilgrimage for peace that took her across the U.S. continent seven times constituting twenty-five thousand miles for TWENTY-EIGHT YEARS, during which she did not carry or accept money.

She had so much faith in what she was doing that she vowed to not once ask for food, money, clothes or shelter until some Good Samaritan offered her something out of his own free will. She wore navy blue slacks and shirt, tennis shoes and a navy blue tunic which emblazoned her new legal name: The Peace Pilgrim. The self-designed tunic had pockets all around the bottom in which she carried her only possessions: a comb, a folding toothbrush, a pen and her small blue leaflets to pass out on the way.

Her simple message was this: overcome evil with good, and falsehood with truth, and hatred with love. These are the surefire paths to inner and outer peace.

Filipinos might find deviations from the human population like the Peace Pilgrim difficult to comprehend. Despite the heroine status this gentle American grandmother eventually gained, many of her own people then and now question her motives (moreso her sanity) for seemingly suffering an unnecessarily fanatical life.

Yet, suffer, she didn’t. Her proof was to have access to a boundless source of energy that she was able to accomplish what she did. Her words and actions were filled only with positive vigor, and at her seventies, she displayed a rare fearlessness that inspired all who were in her blissful presence.

I know how she must have felt due to the following reasons. I myself walked a great part of Mindanao during the course of a year before I learned of the Peace Pilgrim’s existence. Years before this, I began my spiritual journey in Pasadena, California, the same month and city she took her first steps in 1953. I was born the same day she died – July 7.

Indulge me, as I have to digress a little. At a major turning point on my journey, a random Mexican prophet I have never before met took me up the San Gabriel Mountain a few miles from Pasadena who forecasted not only my past, but my near future also, which according to him, would involve quite a bit of walking.

Interestingly enough, he kept insisting on a few lines from Isaiah, the exact same prophecy that the Peace Pilgrim often mentioned in radio interviews and in her many university talks around America:

“From Zion, instructions shall come
and people shall be instructed in His Way.
He shall rebuke nations
and decide disputes between peoples
and they shall beat their swords into plowshares
and their swords into pruning hooks;
Nation shall not lift up sword against each other
Neither shall they learn war anymore.

Come, let us walk into the Light of the Lord.”

For any Filipino who shares the national exasperation in having to witness the slow but sure decay of Philippine pride, hearing the Peace Pilgrim’s story brings so much perspective to Who We Are and Who We Might Become. On the one hand, here are loads of religious and political leaders who live behind those high walls that keep out the destitute and the hungry, while they are busy talking the talk at the expense of those they have sworn to serve. On the other, here is an elderly grandmother who walked the walk, in the humblest, most sure-footed manner.

It was these two examples, that provided me with a compelling mixing bowl of frustration and inspiration that propelled me to the point in my life when I took that long hard look at the mirror and declared, “there’s nothing left to do but to live the truth.”

I started writing about the Peace Pilgrim a few days ago, in remembrance of the day of her death which is but a few days from now. I wanted to give you an idea of just how much purgation one must undergo throughout the pilgrimage and how one must battle to maintain the purity of life’s basic goodness. The Peace Pilgrim, in her grandiose way, died in a fatal crash when she accepted an ironic ride in a fossil-fueled automobile to where she was supposed to give a talk. The disciple named John is something else entirely. If you looked closely enough, the Book of John can reveal many perplexing mysteries, yet it can also tell some important Revelations.

Who is John? Or even better yet, “What is John?”

The cryptic ending of the Book of John reveals the disciple named Peter wondering what Jesus could have meant when he said that the disciple referred to as John the Beloved will stay for a time on Earth until Jesus comes again. (John 21:21)
___________________________________
21Peter seeing him (John) saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?

22Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.

23Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?

24This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true.
_____________________________

Take note that to tarry here means to stay on Earth for a time until Jesus comes again. This means that John will stay on Earth for a time, even when he dies.

Yet another mystery many argue is whether John the Beloved is also the same John who got stuck in an island called Patmos where the Book of Revelations was birthed.

We should know the Revelations to these questions. We are all John of the Cross. The Spanish-moniker, Juan de la Cruz.

It is so important to me that I ask you these. Bear with me: who are we, really? Who is Jesus, Who is John? What is a cross?

If you are one to hold on tightly to your old beliefs, so tightly that connections are merely coincidences, stop reading. Questions such as these aren’t meant for those such as you. You are content that truths handed down by those authorized by God are not to be questioned. If you are going to be that way, don't read on, the chances are great that you will just end up hating me. But, forgive me for I am in the mood to ask these questions today, 7/31/07, so read on only if you are in the mood to ask these questions with me. Who knows, we both might get lucky; I heard somewhere that those who seek shall also find.

Who is John of the Cross? In the Catholic crucifix, ‘tis Jesus that carried and died on the cross, not John.

The Cross is the mark of suffering. Jesus carried it to his death. Jesus didn’t live a life of misery. He was tried and tested in the Desert where he fasted for forty days and nights before he began his ministry, and he didn't bend then, moreso while he lived. Similarly, the prophet named Moses also experienced walking in the desert for forty days and nights. Instead of a cross though, he carried a stick.

John said in 3:14 that just as Moses lifted the serpent in the Desert, it is necessary for the Son of Man to be lifted up. According to John, Jesus is the Son of Man. (John 3:14) According to the Church, Jesus is the only Son of God. Hmmmm.

So, if we followed John 3:14 to the letter … if we were to lift up the Son of Man what might happen? Is it possible that we too would become the Son of God? In the Book of John, Jesus said, “the father and I are one, and you are all my brothers (and sisters, probably). That probably means we have the same Daddy as Jesus does.

Allow me to digress. Please stay with me. If you watched The Ten Commandments, you might remember that the burning bush called I AM WHO I AM told Moses that if he were to demonstrate to the people that his stick will transform into a serpent, then the people will believe that Moses was sent by the I AM WHO I AM to free his people from bondage.

The stick is your physical spine. The coiled serpent is the spiraling kundalini. The kundalini is the feminine face of God. In India, the serpent kundalini is Shakti, the mother. When Shakti, otherwise named Kali enters the body, it dances, like the enlightened Shiva.

What does light-filled Shiva have anything to do with Moses, Jesus and John? Would it surprise you that the beginning of the Hindu Vedas is almost like the beginning of the Book of John? I placed the word “almost” because in the Vedas, the “Word” is replaced by “Vedas,” and the word “God” is replaced by “Krishna.”

And so, you can relax that it isn’t really exactly the same. I'm not even going to speak of the ancient scrolls Notovich found that talks of the Lost Years of Saint Issa to Tibet and India, which Notovich claims to be the Journey of Jesus before his ministry.

I will stop coiling around now. Listen carefully. Be still as I am about to write these words.

John will tarry until Jesus comes again. The Church calls the latter -- The Second Coming.

Jesus is light personified. According to the Church, Jesus is God in human form. If Jesus is our brother, we are all Sons of God in human form. If we aren’t, then we are merely the Son of Man (and woman, probably).

Just as Moses lifted the serpent in the DESERT, you must go all the way through your silent sacred space … until the mother within thee is lifted up.

What is the mother? The mother is forgiveness, compassion, acceptance, and unconditional love. Attributes commonly given the Filipinos, known to be the caregiving servants of humanity.

We are Juan de la Cruz. We are John carrying the cross of suffering. John will tarry until Jesus comes again.

Jesus isn’t coming back. How can he come back if he never really left. Jesus is light, the light within us all.

Jesus is not suffering. Jesus is light. How can light suffer? Jesus transcended the the dark nights, he rose out of the illusion of darkness and into light. Light of forgiveness, compassion, acceptance, and unconditional love.

John is the Cross. Juan de la Cruz is suffering. The Saint who was known as John of the Cross once said that it is only when man undergoes The Dark Night of the Soul that man can find light, unity ... oneness.

John will stay for a time on Earth until Jesus comes. He will die again and again in darkness until Jesus comes back. How can he come back, though? Jesus never left. Jesus is light and light is within us all. Jesus is God, and we are all the Sons and Daughters of God. When we transcend the darkness of illusion, We are Jesus, Krishna and Buddha and all the other beings that transcended the illusion of darkness.

The life of Jesus was proof that we can experience how it feels to be one with God, instead of believing we could be separated from Him (and Her) ... To show us this, he died and ascended unto heaven. He lifted the Son of Man in the Desert.

The cross of suffering is the stick of Moses.

The life of John of the Cross is proof that we can be led to believe that we can be separated from God. We will always be separate from God until the cycle of mortal rebirthing ends. We will always be separate with God until illusion passes away. Until our inner Moses climbs our MA-I's to meet our I AM.

Death comes in many forms, not only with the death of the body. There is a kind of death that begets life; a death that leads to oneness.

Who will lift the Son of Man in the desert? The day will come when the one vital Revelation will be given unto us. We are all Juan. We think there are many. There is only one of us. If this were true, who else then can lift the Son of Man in the Desert? Can you take this kind of responsibility? Can you even fathom this inane concept of oneness in the face of divine accountability?

The Aramaic name of Jesus is Issa. In Filipino, that sounds like “the one.” The “one,” sounds like “the Juan.”

Are you listening, Peter? Slow down time, block out space, hear me now, be here with me now …

… when John does die the death that brings forth light, Jesus will come. Moses’ stick will be lifted in the Desert. The Son of Man will become The Son of God. You will be enlightened. And in the big celebration party afterwards, a lot of dancing will take place. This I promise. We will free our people from this strange sticky bondage yet.

- John of the Inner Dancer

<category scheme='http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#' term='Lots of sleepless nights lately. That I now reside in a treehouse in Camiguin is one of a few good reasons why I now share some things that happened while living in trees while journeying throughout the islands of Palawan. Both times, I used vines to tie large branches together to create makeshift beds. The first time was for three weeks in a small forest near Puerto Prinsesa. My fingers danced involuntarily, increasing as I absorbed the light of the sun, the moon, and the stars. The fingers especially, rapidly snaked around the thumb, while my hand was being moved from my abdominal area, to my heart, my throat, and around my head. It was like watching a movie, so total was my lack of control over my own appendages. It took me a few days to realize that my dancing fingers were being positioned around my seven chakra points for durations of about 30 minutes, five to seven times a day.

Approximately a year later, I was doing the same thing in Kalipay mountain, in an even thicker forest. Again, I made a bed by tying a few branches together using long vines. This time, I stayed for thirty-five days. Fingers once again danced. I found my body everyday bending into a fetal position. Like the year before, I fasted, eating no food, drinking little water and Coconut juice on the first few days, later subsisting on light and air only, bathed in the tree’s nurturing energy. This time, I wore no clothes during the day, meditating and stretching my limbs, massaging them as inner guidance instructed. Animals came to visit -- birds, squirrels, a wildcat, a wild boar, the beach dog Mr. Baggins, my pet cat Ming-Ming, and some monkeys. The loud squirrels, especially, taught me that the human body is a conduit that can convert sound waves into light energy that can be utilized for movement, digestion, and anabolic or catabolic processes. On the last part of my stay, it rained. I fought the freezing cold, eventually experiencing a simultaneous death-rebirth when I observed my body being bent into a sizeable ball or fetus, until I was enveloped in a translucent egg. The lucent egg cracked; luminous wings sprouted at my back and again I met a beautiful and radiant woman whom I first met in Boracay right before I began to walk, and then in Enigmata half a year later. Instructions were given. On my thirty-fifth day in Kalipay mountain, feeling strong but light-headed (and light-footed) as if I couldn’t feel the ground below me, I went back to the beach below. I stopped many times to provide for my much increased need for oxygen.

For a couple of weeks, I attempted to dwell in civilization. That my rusty social skills were at an all-time low, I hurried back to the beach in a dreamy haze. It took three days before I began to receive inner guidance to begin some sort of healing ministry. I packed my few shirts and moved to a small fishing village (Daplak) on another part of the island where a handful of families resided. For two months, I hopped between Daplak and another rural community on the mainland (Alimangoan), catching motorized bancas to ferry me from one town to the other and vice versa. I stayed only in houses where I felt healing was needed. I averaged eight to twenty patients in one day. Although the healing work was startlingly effective, I felt but a tingle of energy coursing through my palms. The patients’ bodies were still stationary; I usually had them lay face-up on a bed. I had yet to discover the expediency the sitting massage afforded me. The crackling sounds began halfway through my stay in Daplak, beginning somewhere in my right shoulder and both my feet. Those two openings weren’t enough to act as exit points for the sick energy I absorbed, what with the constant flow of people I was made to touch per day. At length, I came down with severe malaria symptoms and had to avoid people for a few days while I fasted. I promptly recovered only when I skipped Daplak for Alimangoan.

It was only when the Slovinian (a former policeman) and the Filipino doctor arrived in Kalipay upon my return that I discovered that there was more to the passive energy I only felt slightly. I left the island for a week to take my visiting mum back to the airport in the city. When I returned to Kailpay, the Slovinian related stories of strange happenings. The first occurred as he rested on a treehouse in pain from a wound he got when he stepped on a poisonous bug. As he lay in the treehouse feeling incredibly weak, a surge of electrical energy shot through him and his hand automatically moved to his feet, massaging it with a power not of his conscious mind. He was healed in a few minutes.

A few days later, the doctor arrived. He heard my stories as well as the Slovinian’s, finding them too idiotic for his scientific brain. He made a conscious decision to resist our oddities. That night, after receiving a massage, both his arms began to swing around from the shoulders up -- the first involuntary movement I observed resulting from the massage … I hadn’t even touched his arms yet. To the Slovinian’s and my own delight, the doctor’s arms swung wherever I pointed my fingers at, even if his eyes were closed.

The next days, my two fellow Robinson Crusoes felt the energy flow increase within them, cleansing their bodies in the form of a powerful dance that they described as both ecstatic, at times painful. Short intervals of eating and sleep interrupted the continuous movements. Otherwise, they were moving with this extraordinary force for two straight weeks, displaying expertise in massage, fire dancing and stick-fighting. A malaria patient arrived and was healed by the Slovinian (who felt rather weak after the massage).

The Slovinian stayed much longer than the doctor (two weeks). In three months, he experienced past life recurrences, hourly spurts of ecstatic revelations, mental cleansing and bodily changes. What took me years to accomplish took him only three months of intense meditation and lifting heavy rocks from the end of the beach which we used to construct a garden patterned after The Fruit of Life. After Kalipay, he began to practice healing in El Nido. One particularly interesting patient was a sick and sad masseuse he used to work with. A week after he gave her a massage, she contacted him via SMS that she felt as if she was astonishingly floating since the time he treated her until that day.

My massage style is vastly different from how we three used to do it then. For one, it’s much easier to activate the energy at will, something that proved very difficult only a few months ago. When I began the practice, my fingers were always first drawn to the temples. Swift spiraling motions turned off the mind by absorbing thought patterns through the fingers, automatically opening some points on the body, making it wholly nimble and easier to manipulate. Those who underwent the temple massage experienced visions, personality shifts, past life recurrences, extraordinary empathy with others, a return to childlike innocence or the opposite, a great leap in maturation.

Once I bid adieu to Kalipay and moved back to the city after the Slovinian and the doctor went their respective ways, I began to notice that simple but graceful head and arm massages are enough to heal most sicknesses, even if the ailment is localized in other areas such as around the abdominal region, the legs and feet, the back or the buttocks.

A great vibration takes place whenever a sick person is in my general vicinity and is in need of healing – even without knowing that the person is sick. My hands are magnetized to the precise spots that are troubling the patient. The vibration abruptly ceases when an appropriate amount of healing energy has flowed. At that point, instinct takes me on a short walk to spend a few moments in meditative silence.

I eventually noticed that most of the people who were highly reactive to the massage (meaning they exhibited elaborate bodily movements) all hailed from Mindanao, the place where I first experienced Mu-Wai (the name the Slovinian and I christened for the dancing movement). I reluctantly decided to return to Ma-I to discover if maybe the massage would find more fertile soil within Mindanao’s soulful people.

When I first arrived in Ma-I, few showed reactive involuntary movement, though most of the sick I massaged were getting healed. It took me around three months to get to the point where everyone I touched moved almost spontaneously after touching them for only two to five seconds. Now, even the slightest touch can facilitate the dance. Let me correct that. A few people’s limbs move even without touching, if they are within the vicinity of Kalimata, the mother’s energy. Now, every single person demonstrates either simple or elaborate Kalimata movements though not all sicknesses are healed. Healing depends on the mindset, spiritual advancement, and the personal intentions of the patient.

I feel as if these are but glimpses of a far larger thing and that we haven’t yet set foot on the evolutionary starting line. That we are only now considering whether we can survive the long road ahead, and that only then will we begin to take life seriously. Everyday, we must hurdle stumbling blocks and in doing so, open new energy centers signaled by crackling electrical sounds on the wrist, elbow, the biceps, the triceps, the feet, the ankles, knees, the neck, the fingers, and the shoulders where the crackling is especially loud.

What is this energy that flows through me and through others? One defining moment took place last December a few months before I climbed Kalipay mountain. After three days of extreme fatigue and sleeplessness, every cell in my body was taken over for two hours by a force that made it dance wildly, do somersaults and perform a powerful stick-fighting technique that seemed recorded within my mind, a complex body of knowledge that can be instantly downloaded in my memory like a computer program. Right before this whole thing started, I heard a voice clearly whisper, “the mother and I are now one.”

Kali, the great mother, is the shakti or “life force” that enters the corpse or Shava. Without Kali, the body is as if dead. Kalimata within Shava brings about the dancing Shiva. Moses’ walking stick in Sinai that turns into Shiva’s dancing serpent turns out to be Kalimata’s dancing sick. The ancient inhabitants of the Mexicans lands knew this life force. After deep meditation and moments of elevated awareness, they discovered an automatic flow within the body that redeploys energy for helping the initiate evolve. The modern Americans who rediscovered this lost ancient heritage call it The Magic Passes.

Two nights ago, as I slept, a German traveler watched my feet rise up and start to crackle, followed by my right hand dancing slowly above my head. The dance lasted for 30 minutes. I’m not surprised only because a Korean teacher woke up a month ago in the middle of a Bukidnon evening, her arms swaying wildly in front of her. Her daughter woke up in a van in Cagayan de Oro with her hands raised rigidly. Three months ago in Enigmata Eco-lodge in Camiguin, an American intently watched his sick son’s arms dance in his sleep; all of them received the massage days before dancing in their sleep.

I am changing. We are all changing. The whole planet with all its inhabitants are changing, when we are awake and when we are asleep. When you’re up to it, I invite you to try attuning yourself to the planetary transition. Sleep on a tree or plant vegetables within the Flower of Life pattern. Watch what happens when you eat what you’ve grown. In this light, I’m not a healer. What I really am is someone who plants seeds of change.

It’s been around five months since I left Kalipay Beach. I could have stayed there, stagnantly happy. These days, I again breathe pollution, consume chemicals in my food and water. These days, my brain absorbs GSM signals. These days, I own two email addresses. These days, I live with people, optimistic or judgmental people on the bus, in a Camiguin resort (www.enigmata.mindanaoculture.com), in a hotel in Davao City (www.poncesuites.com) or in Mt. Apo National Park. To live here is to choose to live here. To stay happy here is to be tremendously aware that within all things is a reminder to live, love and learn. To live here is to grow. To be more of Who We All Truly Are, each passing day. Good or bad, I might just be in love with living in this world again. Living here, I submit to my daily woes, apt payment for my everyday wows and whoa’s.

My writing hand has been itchy ever since I began to journey through Ma-I again. Finally, I find that I’m able to record a few accounts of what’s been happening to me since my last writings. If these pages weren’t important, there would be no need to write all these. I would’ve kept the silence I’ve kept for so long. But as always, I am compelled by the one path underlying the illusion that we are all headed for separate destinations.

Jesus once said that you cannot be Prophet in your native land. I find that I am not ready to be Pompet in my native land. However, I have faith that life happens on its own accord; I Am Who I Became, as I Am Also Who I Am Becoming. I will not question the paths of Juan-Pi-Mu. Those who made the call can save themselves grief and cancel that requisition from Exorcists-R-Us. Don’t get any heavy boots, no demons possess me.

Maybe these reckless rants, these raucous raves are destined for the deep end of your garbage bin. Nonetheless, I carry on in that peculiar persistent manner I am known to have. I hope these find you happy and positively healthy. Amidst the holiday haste, might you find harmony in those presents underneath the Christmas Tree of Life. May you evoke your personal Birth Vision as past again meets the future this coming New Year. Let Peace reveal the Path. Upon finding it, only unconditional service further leads the long and winding way. Let there be only Love in all our Lives. Me Mu’d in Ma-I :
